About the Winning Hackers
Hello
Hello allows users to communicate with other individuals or groups via email, SMS, voice, hand writing and even sign language, instantly in their native language. This can then be simultaneously translated into the multiple languages of those in the chat. The judges were impressed with the numerous APIs integrated to process voice, text and gestures.

OxyFi
2nd Place
An app for when you have no internet connection! The app will let you either use a peer's data service using Multipeer or SMS using Twillio. Think of it as Firecat for data, simply pay and connect to browse via a stranger's data connection.
Jambox
3rd Place
Your music. Right here. Since the downfall of the jukebox in the modern age, partygoers and barflies have been left at the mercy of their hosts' (often unreliable) taste in music. Jambox brings the jukebox back into the 21st century, allowing guests to collaboratively create the ideal playlist for their evening. The proceeds from the jukebox listing charges can be paid to the host, directly to the artists, or to charity.
